In today’s global fashion market, professionals regularly collaborate with colleagues, manufacturers, and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Whether managing remote design teams, sourcing materials internationally, or delivering luxury retail experiences to high-end clients, communication plays a pivotal role in success. Yet, many fashion professionals lack training in cross-cultural communication, leading to misunderstandings, strained relationships, and lost opportunities.

Fashion brands—especially those with international operations—face real challenges when team members are unaware of cultural expectations around language, etiquette, negotiation, and service. Traditional corporate training often fails to reflect the fast-paced, visually driven, and relationship-sensitive nature of the fashion world. There’s a growing demand for training that’s immersive, relevant, and aligned with the unique dynamics of this industry.
“Fashion Talks: Communicating Across Cultures” is a scenario-based, gamified eLearning experience designed to equip fashion professionals with practical, culturally sensitive communication strategies. Guided by Sofia, a global fashion manager at the fictional brand TWEAN Fashion, learners navigate real-world challenges such as supplier negotiations, multicultural meetings, luxury customer service, and international presentations. Through branching dialogues, drag-and-drop activities, and visual storytelling, learners build cross-cultural competence while completing interactive missions.
